Break
Break
Between the last blog and this, I’ve taken a break, intended as holiday, then elongated due to Covid.
In this time, I took a step back from writing/close reading to make some images, then edit and process them while fresh in my mind. Initial editing/viewing thoughts are there are some good/very good images selected. Now this could be due to quick editing time which risks being influenced by the good feelings, as opposed to the established practice of giving space to aid objectivity, the Leica effect may also be at play as well.
Though this is the first time when the new direction of UT has played a main part, enabled by a specific plan, yet allowing for adaptation to reactions and connections. It seems to have worked. Further discussion on these ideas will appear in the blog on routine/specificity.

Thank you.
