Developments at Urgent Temporality have been nothing short of tumultuous this last week so l expect that this short examination will follow suit.

I’ve been thinking about the future of the writings here. I ponder how these communications should develop, should they become more conversationalist, more confrontational or just navigate this same pathway? I feel like keeping the 150-word cap but maybe developing a more honest style here.

This was underlined by possible discussion points this week, which included:

• Examinations of the use of language in changing of interpretation for readings.

• Difficulties in close reading and their solutions,

• Longer words equating to a more informed viewpoint and

• the use of specific words and their emotive reasoning clouding arguments.

As you can sense the common thread amongst these is interpretation, this has specifically appeared in my readings/in the act writing a personal statement.
