Histories

Histories in my readings this week, notions of histories rose up into my consciousness, this came through various work on readdressing previous problems in the accepted versions. There has been a gradual shifting of these established histories to accommodate new voices and viewpoints, stepping away from what most would say is the norm. I welcome these, hope to see more of them and taking this on board and looking at my own photographic histories I see the holes within these and hope to be given tools and outlets to address these with a more nuanced, encompassing content.

Although that said you can’t rewrite histories as they appear in personal experiences, think they have to stand up on their own but encompass other histories that give a wider alternative to the idea of single viewpoint histories as the definitive.
