NMP 9 - Script is in !!

Scripting In general and for Sin

The script is in and it’s fantastic! Truly great work by Nicola!!!

Ok so to fill in the gaps part of the module is to bring in a collaboration element and part of my collaboration process was to ask Nicola Mostyn (who’s wrote some fantastic words and book and all sorts you check her work out at http://www.nicolamostyn.com/ ) to write a script that i could produce as my final moving image piece

I’d chosen Sin as subject matter, wasn’t sure which direction to take it in, started with a very loose idea to portray sin as a character maybe lost in the world or something… couldn’t quite place it as my h=ideas started to pop off like a box of fireworks so honing in the idea was very much needed.

In stepped Nicola, who sorted it out wonderfully I now have the text to produce something from, hope i can do the words justice

Thinking the direction I’s like to go in is to turn into a full script, with directions and actors shot as a filmic version with scenes and cuts and further involvement with actors, voice overs etc

Thinking this will become more film based so will have to retain enough elements to keep it in line with New Media Practice but I believe I can keep it as a happy outcome
