About the reading

They say that the problem with writing is that sometimes we have to read 10 things to write 2 sentences.

Doing the numbers on my current situation with my current reading list of 33 books of varying length and use, coupled with papers that could possibly inform of something specific or signpost to a further bibliography means that once I’ve read these then I can write 4 and 1/3 sentences.

Am I doing this write?

Seeing a similarity with the 10k hours theory, of which I have always had questions when you apply it to photographies. Does each hour count or is it just the top of the game stuff that counts? Does making any mundane ordinary image count? I’ve spent well over 10k in photography but only a portion reading about it. Possibly, once I’ve read for 10k hours will I be able to, to, to, to what exactly?
