About the research…

As I’m currently stuck in a sort of research replay blind loop, I thought I’d take steps back to look at the beginning of this journey, seeing if an attempt can be made to evaluate any reasonings behind this and see if that will help to express my problems with my current stage.

As I rewind to that point, one of my biggest problems then (and which was correctly judged by others) was the fact I was stood in a field completely on my own, with few reference points in the distance. To compound matters I’d coupled that with a far too broad subject.

Really, it was a no touch disaster at that point.

I did what any ‘hopes to be a good’ researcher does, took it all on board and worked, I believe that helped.

I’m now appreciating what an eloquent statement ‘standing on the shoulders of giants’ is.
