Start-2023

Hello, here we are in 2023, what a year it promises to be, as I’m looking upward, I’ve felt the need to re-answer the question

“What is Urgent Temporality?” 

Firstly it was set up as a home for all of my images/projects that didn’t quite fit other practices, personas or that don’t have a home, either through content or thought.

Secondly, it’s a home/umbrella for what I believe to be my research direction, play on words that encompassed my thoughts on photographies contemporary competing uses. Urgent as in must be seen, here, now and Temporality as the sheer deluge of images rendered certain images to be of little value/use. Not sure that is still the direction, but I still think it fits the vehicle for progression.

Lastly, it’s home for my writing, still in its infancy but slowly establishing a pathway.

A partial low fence rail sits alone in a field providing something unseen.
