FWoB - Paths.

My latest PhD direction is now seemingly plotting a course off the map into unchartered territory. My traditional plan in the construction of a ‘proper’ route is possibly not going to contain the desired learning content that I was hoping for. The rigidity and narrow scope that needs to be established precendently is of main concern.

To counter this I have been examining the role of research-creation, thinking in uncanny terms and observe a possibility in this to fulfil learning requirements as well as adding into flexibility of direction if the re-search throws up anything.

Although current observations suggest a very distinct divide between what one would call a traditional study pathway and research-creation study direction. I wonder if this distinction is solely in minds or if it plays out in wider academic circles? As the purpose is elevation of academic criteria, dare I risk its indignation?
