NMP 21 - Covid19

Mentioned it before and now its arrived as of the 20th of March, I’m in lockdown, the preparation for my job have started and I’m looking at all sorts of different work practices and it’s exhausting me at the moment.

So far I have had to prep for my job in a different way and get my head round all sorts of new working practices. Microsoft teams will be the new home for everything for the foreseeable future, what a strange time we live in.

The Sin piece has turned into a monologue piece and after a few experiments, I’m going to use my voice so as to give me flexibility going forwards to adapt the script as necessary.

I will also be playing the role of sin, wondering if I need to dress for the part or create a set or just play it as a bearded middle aged bloke in a strange setting…should be easy.. 

Update it’s been extended past the 2 weeks everyone seemed to think it was going to last for, we’re now into Easter holiday times.

 Update: Having my son stay has been an extra enjoyable pressure but still it has been a challenge, this has fed into the bizarrely exhausting nature.

 Update: 6 weeks in, starting to worry about the return to normality and how that will work…

 Deadline week: Now in our 7th week and no sign of the end, I’m happy with what I have produced and where it is.
